by Libby Hellmann

What was the best part of Bcon for you?

Btw, a free copy of DOUBLEBACK for anyone who can identify everyone on the page...

Hey Libby, I know a few, but not everyone. I have the same picture of the Marlboro man at the Slippery Noodle.

It was good seeing all the members of The Outfit again.

My B'Con is here. http://workingstiffs.blogspot.com/2009/10/bouchercon-2009.html

I can't pick one favorite part! I got to meet you in person - that's definitely a highlight!!! (but we missed getting a picture so we definitely have to do it again!) I also was able to meet a few more of The Outfit - very cool. I'm still reeling a bit, but also very tired. So much fun packed into a few days!! Cool to see a few of my fellow fans in these pictures: Patti and Judy! It was just amazing. I'll be posting numerous posts on my wonderful experiences, so glad you were one of them, Libby! :)

Mine was great, in no small part thanks to having a chance to say hello again to you and to Sean, and to meet Michael for the first time for an interesting and entertaining conversation at the SMM party. My first trip to downtown Indianapolis after several visits to Indiana, and one I'll always remember fondly.

Everyone ought to be working hard to be the first to ID the suspects. The pleasure of reading Doubleback is worth alot!

It was my first, and I had a great time. Even when my eyes were open, which was not when Libby snapped my photo.

It was great to meet those of you whom I've only known though email to this point.

I can identify the two people I have actually met, but I'm afraid that's all. (Sara P and Donna M)

If I was very rich I'd come next year.

hehe, Can I say winning the Anthony was the best part?? But truly in my eyes as long as I get to see so many dear friends that it's never a bad time.

Thanks for sharing the photos. Wish I could have gone. Went to Chicago and Milwaukee BCons. Perhaps, I'll make it to St. Louis.
Didn't recognize all the people in the photos, but thought I saw Michael Dymmoch, Sean Chercover (twice), Barbara D'Amato, David Thompson,Laura Caldwell, Marcus Sakey, David Heinzmann, Jamie Freveletti, Donna Moore, yourself, Sara Paretsky, Gary Phillips, and William Kent Krueger.

Anyway, thanks for sharing the photos.

The best part for me was going -- I'd never been to Bouchercon before and I had a blast.

Looking forward to reading your book that I picked up at the bazaar on Sunday.
